SUMMARY: Rylie Morgan is another possible draftee who had a very impressive season for WA in the Under 18s and for his WAFL club, Claremont. The performances of Morgan in the Tigers' reserves saw the youngster win the Dennis Marshall Medal for the best and fairest in the side. The ball magnet found a way to have a impact in every game he played at that level. There was a three week stretch between round 20 and the qualifying final where he averaged a phenomenal 31 disposals, eight marks and seven tackles. Even when he had a quieter game such as the Preliminary final (13 disposals) he had 10 tackles to go along with it. Morgan was the Western Australia Under 16s captain and his leadership capabilities are evident to see every time he takes to the field. The main assets of the midfielder lie in the fact of his ball winning ability, skill set and ability to make good decisions under pressure. Morgan is just as comfortable on the outside as well as the inside, but he will look to add a bit more muscle to match it with the bigger bodies in the AFL along with having more of a impact in the forward fifty.
